Massage therapy is an amazing tool. During a session you can expect to be stretched, massaged, taught how to engage a muscle, and have some homework to extend the effects of the session long after we are finished. The dynamic relationship we have during a session I found to be so much more effective and powerful than passively receiving a massage.
To the best of my ability I educate you on what I think is going on with your body, and how we can work together to help it into better efficiency. Massage breaks up and smooths out dysfunctional muscles. Stretching those muscles wakes up the connection between your brain and the muscles. Actively moving the muscle resets the habitual pattern both in the brain and the body.
We work together in a bodywork session pushing the envelope of how effective massage can be.
